On the 12th Novemeber 2009 Redline Travel of Hartlepool In North east england (1:76th scale operator) will be running a funday and a rally we need as much vehicles as we can get we want to make it a day to remember !

Hi Leon, I guess many would call you bonkers but don't fret we bus enthusiasts have a reputation to live down. I find your operation quite interesting though as I live in Stafford and Stevenson's and it's territory was on my patch. I must admit I had a ficticious bus fleet too as a teenager but the only trouble was each time I discovered buses I liked I kep't changing things around and I never wanted to get rid of the old one's like the half-cabs. Like many I expect I wish we could in real life see your Independent buses instead of those of Arriva and First Group, but there are still a few nice little firms left. I still take some photographs but I get a lot of enjoyment driving the small stuff for Eagle Travel and I love going around the villages like Milwich etc. Glad to see you are preserving a Doyen, but my only concern is whether you have enough vehicles for all those routes. I see LR Travel is still going strong! I think you should do a journal article about how you converted those Paramounts. I get no end of comments about mine whenever I display it!

Think your bodyshop page could do with an update - that Caribbean has long gone, I know cos I've got it now! Quicksilver seems to have become a refuge for old LR coaches, I've got 5 now that used to belong to you - B12T Excalibur, B9M Alizee, Tiger Caribbean, 8.5m Javelin, modernised Paramount.
Any other coaches for sale at the mo?

Were looking for about 50 buses to be painted in to 1 livery. Ranging from Double deck, single deck , coaches and artic buses.
The livery were looking for is the same as your LR Travel one but instead of a gold stripe down the bottom it will be orange. Were looking for Travel Dublin to be put on the buses simialr to your LR Travel but in Orange..

I see a third Duple 425 seems to have sneaked into the fleet. I shall have to get another to maintain my reputation as the model operator with the largest fleet of 425s! They are fantastic machines though...
I keep meaning to ask where you get your air horns from. Some of these would finish off Quicksilver's coaches nicely.

Love the 425's. Can't offer you a model Doyen but you can have the real thing if you like!!
My Paintshop is flat out at the moment like yours!!
Vehicles for both my own fleet and others, currently got an ex Nottingham City Transport Domi 1 leopard in for long term preservation job.

Great to see the fleet expanding. Love those two 425s - one more and you'll have as many as my fleet! I think your first one is a sister vehicle to my 425 TBH.
