Sunset Holidays is now the main coaching department at LRT, and the venture is operated in conjunction with EZBUS Scotland. The Fleet of Plaxton Paragons has now been re-newed with 4 brand new Scania PB Irizars. The 3 ex LRT Plaxton Paragons have since passed on to Quicksilver Coaches [see there site for pictures], and also EZBUS has traded in there Paragons in receipt of these new Irizars.The new Irizars YN09LRT,YN09SUN are with LRT, whist EZBUS is taking YN09SET, YN09EZB, giving 1 'private plate' to each operator [LRT,EZB] and also 1 'private plate' for each operator for Sunset [SUN & SET]. All new Scanias will be fleet active during July 09.
YR09LRT Scania Irizar PB is one of a batch of 4 brand new coaches to enter the Sunset operatin. They will be shared out between LRT & EZBUS but this one is allocated to LRT.
YR09SUN Scania Irizar PB is the 2nd of the 2 allocated to LRT, and is undergoing final checks ready for its first week touring.
In the next 2 shots can be seen the 4 PB Irizars, 2 for LRT & 2 for EZBUS, awaiting collection from the dealers. They are all expected to be in operation during July 09
